Our firm is dedicated to meeting these goals with high standards of excellence and professionalism. Our Team Bruce Knudsen, CPA, Owner of Knudsen Accounting Services, P.C. Bruce Knudsen passed the Uniform CPA Examination in November 1986. He graduated from Montana State University in Bozeman with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Business, Accounting Option in March 1987 and was an auditor with KPMG Peat Marwick for nearly 5 years. In late 1991, Bruce opened a consulting business specializing in litigation support, troubled debt workouts, and business consulting. He continued that business until 2003 when he started Knudsen Accounting Services, P.C. During that same time period he owned and managed a delivery business in Billings. Knudsen Accounting Services, P.C. offers the vast resources of a consultant experienced in business management, litigation, accounting systems, internal controls, income tax planning, bank financing, and the day to day operation of a business coupled with an innovative system of insuring that good accounting data is collected from the most basic operations of your business. Bruce is certified as a QuickBooks Pro Advisor for QuickBooks 2006. bruce@kaspc.biz     (406)248-5487 Robert Skates, Tax Accountant Robert Skates served five years in the US Marine Air Corp and was honorably discharged as a Captain He then graduated from the University of Montana – Missoula in 1961 with a Degree in Business Administration and received his CPA Certificate from Colorado in 1963. Bob worked 5 years in public accounting primarily with small businesses dealing with financial statements and tax returns. After this time frame, he worked in the private industry as a comptroller/treasurer for a consulting engineering company, a tax accountant and special projects manager for an independent oil company, and as a comptroller for a multi-state bank holding company. Bob also was the owner/general manager of a small construction company before he returned to the accounting profession with the BIA/Department of Interior as Finance Manager through 2002. Bob joined Knudsen Accounting Services, P.C. in 2003 as a Tax Accountant. With his extensive business, accounting and tax background, he is well versed in many tax areas. His tax client list spans a wide spectrum of industries, as well as individual and partnership returns.
